Re-filling Procedure:
When the printer indicates a cartridge needs to be replaced, simply take out the cartridge, top up with ink using the syringe provided. When the cartridge is re-inserted, the printer will automatically read the cartridge as full and you can carry on printing. These refillable cartridges come with auto-reset chips so they do not need a chip re-setter. All refillable cartridge/ink kits come complete with full illustrated instructions.

Epson SC-P800 Refill Cartridges: Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can i introduce these one at a time alongside my existing cartridges?
A: Yes you can. Each refillable cartridge operates independently of neighboring cartridges and as Marrutt ink is formulated to create an almost exact match to OEM colors, you can introduce cartridges one at a time with no noticeable change to your printing output.
Q: Why would I want to change to refillable cartridges?
A: Quite simply, to save money. If you print an 11 x 8.5 photo, you are using as much ink as 40 pages of text! - Using refill cartridges allows you to use a good quality photographic ink in bottles, which works out at around one fifth of the ink cost!
Q: How do i refill and reset a refillable cartridge?
A: When the printer advises that a cartridge is empty and needs changing, press the cartridge change button, take the cartridge in question out of the printer and remove the filling bung. Fill the cartridge with the correct ink using a syringe provided and replace filling bung. Re-seat the cartridge and press the cartridge change button. The printer will then recognize the ink level as full.
Q: How do many times can i refill a refillable cartridge?
A: 9 times out of 10, for as long a the printer can still print! These cartridges are very robust and there is only the cartridge chip and the cartridge seal that can become faulty. All our refillable cartridges come with a 1 year warranty.
